UIUCNET WIRELESS ACCESS AT THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The College of Education and Office of the Chief Information Officer formally announces the availability of the CITES UIUCnet Wireless Access service at the Education Building.
WHAT IS IT?

Although still in beta-testing status, the UIUCnet Wireless service provides secure wireless data connectivity to the UIUC network and Internet for users of mobile devices, such as laptops and PDAs.
WHAT DO I NEED?
----------------------------
For wireless connectivity, the following is needed:
* A valid UIUC netID and password
(Guests may also request a temporary netID in order to access the
wireless network.)
* 802.11b Compatible Wireless (Wi-Fi) Card
* Compatible VPN client installed
