New CIO Support Number and Office

Technology Lifeline Center, 244-6053

WHAT IS HAPPENING

A new office has been designed in CIO intended to serve as a "hub" of support and training for College of Education faculty and staff. This new office is the Technology Lifeline Center (TLC) located in room 25 Education Building. The TLC phone number is 244-6053. The TLC is staffed between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday by a combination of full- and part-time staff including graduate students. TLC staff provide the following:

• Technical support, training and consulting to College of Education faculty and staff
• Dispatch or referral of 2nd-tier technical support or service requests
• Administrative support for professional development activities

WHEN THIS IS EFFECTIVE

This takes effect on Monday, September 9th.

HOW TO USE THE TLC

The TLC is staffed in order to provide support over the phone (244-6053) or face-to-face, on-demand or scheduled. Feel free to call or stop by to get immediate help, or call to set up an appointment.

NOTE: 244-7005 will continue to reach CIO's administrative office, room 32 Education Building
