Registering for classes after admission
Newly Admitted Students
After your official admissions letter from the Office of Admissions and Records is mailed to you, a Net ID packet is generated. This packet will either be mailed to you or you will be contacted by the Graduate Programs Secretary to pick it up.
You must have a Net ID and password to register. If you do not receive a Net ID packet, please contact CITES Account Services at 217/333-6760. Again, you will be unable to get a Net ID until you have received your official admissions letter from the Office of Admissions and Records.
Fall 2006 Courses
Time tickets for Fall 2006 registration are available for students to view. The time tickets can be viewed by using the Enterprise Applications Student Self-Service at https://apps.uillinois.edu/index.html to access Registration Eligibility from the Registration menu. This page will give you information about your authorization to register including your time ticket, holds, academic standing, student status and your class.
Before registering please be sure to:
* View hold information - you must clear all holds that prevent registration before you will be able to register.
* Verify and update your address information if needed by selecting the Addresses and Phones link on the Personal Information Menu.
* If you are planning to graduate in May 2006 you should select the Graduation Information link on the Main Menu and then select Notify Intent to Graduate This Term.
If you have questions about your time ticket or registration eligibility you may contact Registration Services at registration@uiuc.edu.
