College Research Awards
Dissertation Funding
Each year, the Bureau of Research in the College of Education will grant several dissertation awards on a competitive basis to graduate students to support the completion of their doctoral dissertations. These awards are funded through the generosity of the alumni and friends of the College. This information will help you to determine if you are eligible and how to apply.
We strongly encourage applicants to review examples of previously funded applications, which are available from the Bureau. We also advise applicants to have their faculty advisors carefully review the application before submitting it .
College Distinguished Scholars
Each year the College of Education awards the title of Distinguished Scholar or Distinguished Senior Scholar to select members of the faculty who have distinguished themselves in their scholarly accomplishments.
Faculty Fellows Program
Applications are invited for one year, renewable appointments to the Faculty Fellows Program beginning August 16, 2008. Successful applicants may reapply for a maximum appointment of three years. An appointment to the Fellows Program offers many advantages, including: (1) resources for programmatic research; (2) an opportunity to develop new research programs; and (3) support of colleagues involved in a variety of research efforts. Deadline for application is February 15, 2008.
