Dissertation Funding

This web-based, searchable database can assist doctoral students and their advisors in the College of Education in identifying funding sources and in developing information search strategies. This database particularly highlights pre-dissertation, dissertation and postdoctoral funding sources designed specifically to support minorities; and programs that support dissertation-related activities, although some resources also offer general graduate fellowships and/or post-doctoral research.

Look for downloadable application materials on funders' web pages. Funders' own materials, whether in print or on the web, are the most accurate and up-to-date information sources. Programs may change, appear, or disappear from year to year. Check with the funding agency if the material appears to be outdated.

Based on the fields below, specify any award and/or eligibility criteria that you would like to use in your search, and then click on the search button. Specifying no criteria and clicking on search will return all the records in the database.
