Michael A. Peters is professor of education in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and adjunct professor in the School of Art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is also the author over fifty books, including most recently: Creativity and the Global Knowledge Economy, (with Peter Murphy and Simon Marginson) (forthcoming); Knowledge Economy, Development and the Future of Higher Education (2007); Global Knowledge Cultures (ed.)
