Distinguished Alumni Awards

About the Distinguished Alumni Awards

The Distinguished Alumni Awards were established by the Education Alumni Association (EAA) in 1995 to publicly recognize the outstanding contributions of our graduates. Past recipients have been nominated by academic colleagues, former faculty members, and prior award winners. The final selections are made by a committee of EAA board representatives. The recipients return to the College of Education each spring and share their experiences with students and faculty.  They are then honored at a brunch reception and their names are added to a permanent display in the South Lobby of the Education Building.
