- Operate a computer system in order to utilize software.
- Evaluate and use computers and related technologies to
support the instructional process.
- Apply current instructional principles, research, and
appropriate assessment practices to the use of computers and related technologies.
- Evaluate and use educational software and associated
documentation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of uses of computers for problem
solving, data collection, information management, communications, presentations,
and decision making.
- Design student activities that integrate computing of
a variety of grouping strategies and diverse student populations.
- Integrate computer-based instruction in the curriculum.
- Demonstrate knowledge of multimedia, hypermedia, and
telecommunications activities to support instruction.
- Demonstrate skill in using word processing, database,
spreadsheet, and print/graphics utilities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of equity, legal, and human issues
of technology.
- Identify resources for staying current in computer applications
in education.
- Use computer-based technologies to access information
to enhance personal and professional productivity.
- Apply technology to facilitate emerging roles of the
learner and the educator.
EACH STANDARD HAS THREE LEVELS

- Level 2: Application and Integration
- Level 3: Infusion and Transformation
