Our goal is to use computer-based telecommunications to establish links between teacher education and the practice of teaching. With the Teaching Teleapprenticeship model, this new communication medium may serve as a powerful contextualized environment, serve as dynamic support, and promote integration of computers into teacher education.
We are studying the macro-environments of social contexts; the micro-environments of telecommunication/computer use; and the effects on different individuals in terms of how this model can affect, enhance, and extend the teacher preparation process for different subject domains.
