The Educational Administration Program at Chicago is designed to meet both degree requirements for the UIUC College of Education and certification requirements for the State of Illinois General Administrative Endorsement (Type 75). To be eligible for admission into the cohort, applicants must have completed a minimum of one year of full-time teaching or have acceptable school service personnel experience. Applications for admission to the summer cohort must be submitted by April 2.
Our program is highly competitive and selective. We typically have many more qualified applicants than we have available openings in the cohort. Therefore, we encourage candidates to submit all admissions material as far in advance of the applications deadline as possible, so that your application can receive the most comprehensive and favorable consideration. |
EOL Graduate Admission Criteria
All students will be evaluated based on the criteria set by the Graduate College and the Department of Educational Organization and Leadership. In addition, preference will be given to those with strong letters of recommendation from their school administrators. Please refer to the Department of Educational Organization and Leadership Admissions Policy before proceeding with application process. |
