Project:  What's For Lunch?

Registration Deadline:  April 25
Project completion Date:  May 23

Purpose:  Sudents will compare their favorite school lunches to those of
other students from different parts of the United States. They will
discover if different schools offer similar meals to theirs, and if
children from the same age group have the same favorites.

Subjects:  Math, Social Studies, Reading

Grade Level:  K-2

Summary:  Each participating classroom will be asked to fill out a survey
of their favorite school lunches and e-mail it to me. My class will then
make a graph for each participant on the computer from the information
received. We will also make a graph combining all  classes involved.
Everyone will receive a copy of graphs from all participating classes.
Students can then locate where the other classes are from, and compare any
similarities or differences in eating habits.
