This project involves counting the number of each color found in a 1.69 oz package of M&M's and reporting the data to the website where a spreadsheet of results will be maintained. The directions for participating were very clearly spelled out and this project would appeal to teachers of all grades but especially elementary and middle school students studying counting, averaging, percentages, probability and/or graphing. Looks like a winner, with additional M&M-related links and extension activities for teachers. Happy eating :)
