This project enables 6-14 year olds to participate in learning about other countries and schools. Instead of having to travel to the destination of interest, which incidentally would cost a lot of money, the students send a "travel buddy" in their place. This travel buddy seems to act like an ambassador for the children, and finds out interesting events and cultures for them. They can also learn a lot about the country from the journals and pictures that the travel buddy sends. I think this is a great project especially since very few students have the luxury of travelling to other countries. This is probably the best way to learn how big the world is.
