Career Exploration for Special Education Students -- Population, Responsiblities, and Time Line

Population
Sixteen special education students in grades 7-12 at Valmeyer Community Unit District #3 who are in Jeff Morrison's classes.

Responsibilities
Jeff Morrison and Suzanne Chisum will work jointly on creating, implementing, and evaluating this experience. Responsibilities include:

1. Get hardware and telephone hook-up in classroom - Jeff
2. Locate software that will run on DOS 286 machines, no windows - Suzanne
3. Develop computer usage survey - both
4. Contact career resource people - Suzanne
5. Develop Questions - both
6. Develop supporting curriculum - Jeff
7. Instruct Students on project - Jeff and Suzanne
8. Grade Assignments - Jeff
9. Develop and Administer Evaluation - Suzanne and Jeff
